INTERNAL ROTARY BROACH SET UP TOOL GAGE

Introducing a low cost proven method for getting your broach tool on center. Using the Somma specially designed gage will get your broach tool on center in minutes.

It's easy. All you need to do to set your broach tool is:

• Install the broach gage in your broach tool spindle

• Leave your centering adjustment screws loose

• Prepare your hole in your piece as you normally would in your machine

• When the broach tool comes up, guide it in by hand

• When it is fully engaged in the part, just tighten the adjustment screws

• Replace the gage with your broach and you are ready to go

Based on recommended drill size

Broach gages are available for hex, square and special shapes.
Just add a "-G" after the broach catalog number (Ex. HX00-1/4-G)

Note: You must state the OAL of the broach that you are using. (.315 dia: 1-1/4 or 1-1/2 / .500 dia: 1-1/2, 1-3/4 or 2")
